Following a deadly shooting near the Powell and Market streets BART station entrance on Thursday night, the SFPD announced that an arrest was made almost immediately. Arriving officers found a male victim, who has not yet been identified, suffering from gunshot wounds and later died at the hospital. The 18-year-old male suspect, identified as Daveon Crawford of Sacramento, has been booked for murder at the county jail. This marks San Francisco's 24th homicide of the year.
