A tragic twist in the quiet streets of Napa occurred last Saturday night when a 45-year-old man's evening bike ride turned fatal. Found by a motorist on Wine Country Avenue, between Dumas Street and Emperor Way, the man lay critically injured beside his bicycle. He was discovered around 8:42 PM, according to official reports. First responders from the Napa Fire Department and American Medical Response rushed to give aid, swiftly transporting the victim to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
Efforts to unravel the events that led to the cyclist’s demise are currently underway by the Napa Police Department. With the help of the American Canyon Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team, no stone was left unturned. The collision remains a mystery.
