Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed that the individual who died at the scene was Donald Armstrong of Decaturville, Tennessee. The collision occurred near Dickerson Pike at approximately 3:45 p.m., as reported by WKRN.

According to eyewitnesses, Armstrong was trying to quickly accelerate onto the parkway from the on-ramp when he tragically struck the passenger side of a 2019 Infiniti traveling westbound. The impact threw Armstrong from his Tri Glide motorcycle, leading to fatal injuries.
