HPD Seeks Public's Help Identifying Suspects in Fatal Shooting of Man in HoustonSource: Houston Police Department

Houston's streets are reeling from another act of violence as the HPD Homicide Division has released surveillance photos of two suspects involved in the killing of a 23-year-old man last month. Christensen Hill died from multiple gunshot wounds on March 31, near an apartment complex at 3275 Summer Street, as confirmed by city authorities.

The fatal encounter unfolded around 11 p.m. when police received a call about a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Hill, accompanied by his dog, lying lifeless in the parking lot. Hill, a known local who roamed these streets, often behind the wheel of a dark gray Cadillac, became an unsuspected target as the night claimed his final breath. The suspects, cloaked in black and marked by orange undies and white-striped pants, fled with his car, in a theft that punctuated their violent act. This stolen Cadillac has been recovered since, as per officials.

As if piecing together a mosaic of justice, the HPD Homicide Division — with Sergeant W. Elsbury, Detectives D. Arnold, G. Zavala and J. Diaz at the helm — have compiled suspect descriptions from the recovered evidence and are now turning to the public for assistance. In an effort to peel back masks of anonymity, surveillance photos of the wanted men are now circulated widely, carrying the weight of a city's plea for closure and justice.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with knowledge on the identity of the elusive suspects. HPD has urged those who can light the darkened corners of this case to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600, or, for those who wish to remain in the shadows, to speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
