A spree of crimes in Washington, DC has culminated in the arrest of a suspect by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District. Reports indicate that a man has been nabbed for an alleged armed robbery and burglary that occurred earlier this month, as confirmed by law enforcement authorities.

The first of these incidents took place near the intersection of 4th and T Streets, Northwest. On April 6, just before midnight, a male suspect reportedly accosted a victim, brandishing a knife to seize valuables before taking his leave from the scene. Details gleaned from MPD’s news release mention the display of undue aggression by the assailant.

Following the robbery, on April 10 around the dead of night, the same suspect was said to have committed a burglary. The individual forcefully made entry through the front door of a business located on the 300 block of 40th Street, Northeast. Once inside, he proceeded to steal property and then made a swift exit.

After an investigation, 39-year-old Kenneth Lindsay, who is of no fixed address, was taken into custody on April 25. Lindsay faces charges of Robbery and Burglary.
