According to Fox San Antonio, Temple Fire & Rescue responded to the motor vehicle collision on State Highway 36, near Highway 317, in the morning hours. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a vehicle crushed beneath the massive load.
The rescue operation, aimed at quickly freeing the trapped driver, was challenging and took over four hours. It involved 25 staff members and 10 units from Temple Fire & Rescue, as reported by The Independent. The driver was airlifted to the ER with life-threatening injuries. The identities of the two deceased and the injured individual have not been disclosed.
