A routine traffic pullover on a busy Cypress road led to the capture of a woman on Harris County's wanted list, officials said. Shadonya Lasha Freeman was driving along the 13700 block of Cypress North Houston Road on May 4 when deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office flagged down her vehicle for a traffic stop.

Upon identification, it emerged that Freeman had an outstanding warrant for her arrest from Waller County, wanted for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Constable Herman's office issued a statement following her arrest, noting the resolve in their effort to collar those wanted on serious charges.

"Shadonya Lasha Freeman was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, for the open felony warrant. Her bond and court information have not been set at this time," a statement by the Constable Mark Herman, though details regarding her bond and court hearing were not immediately available.
