Fort Worth Offers Treasure Trove of PPE to Local Businesses in Ongoing Support EffortSource: City of Fort Worth

Fort Worth businesses take note – the city's got a stash of personal protective equipment with your name on it. In a benevolent move to support local enterprises, the City Council has opened up the gates to allow any local business with a permanent Fort Worth address to get their hands on some valuable PPE.

The city had previously embarked on a mission to distribute the bounty of masks and hand sanitizer during the earlier phase which wrapped up in January of this year, because there’s still more than enough to go around, phase three of distribution is now in motion. As reported by the City of Fort Worth, the floodgates have opened, and all interested parties can grab their share of the loot until June 30, or, until the supplies dry up.

Businesses hoping to snag some safety swag can throw their hat in the ring by filling out an online form, or if they're kicking it old-school, they can email a PDF of the form to the provided address. The city has made it clear, it's a first-come, first-served scenario, so kicking the can down the road might leave you empty-handed.

The drill is simple: once they’ve got your form, city officials will ring you to set up a time for you to come on down to City Hall, or its Annex at 401 W. 13th St., to pick up your gear. And in case you’re wondering what’s left in this treasure trove of preventative goodness, a photo was shared showing a substantial stockpile of masks and sanitizer ready for distribution.

Those in need of further information can make a call to Julie Robles, presumably the city's PPE point person, sitting by at 817-392-2013 to answer any pressing questions or to provide the scoop on phase four, should the need arise after this current phase concludes.
