A ruthless assault in the usually quiet town of Colma has led to the arrest of a San Francisco man following a brutal altercation in a shopping center parking lot. According to a Colma Police Department Facebook post, the incident, which unfolded in broad daylight on Tuesday, April 23, saw 34-year-old Joal Antoniomedina arrested on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Reports say that Antoniomedina initiated the violence by punching the victim in the face. Picked up by officers on the scene, wearing clothes that matched the suspect's description, the assailant then dragged the victim towards the street by his shirt collar against his will.
