One individual was rescued from the clutches of the fire in the upstairs bedroom of the 2100 block home. After being evaluated for minor injuries, the person was released, as per the Ventura County Fire Department. The fire, leaving three adults and two children without a place to stay, prompted a call to the Red Cross for assistance with displacement.
The American Red Cross of Central California responded to provide necessary aid to the now-displaced family. "RedCrossCCR has been requested for the displacement of the 3 adults and 2 children," as stated by the VCFD PIO.
