A witness overheard the victim shouting for help before the call was cut short, and the woman was allegedly taken by Brown. She was missing throughout the day but was fortunately located by evening. After the incident, Brown’s whereabouts were unknown, prompting the issuance of warrants for his arrest.

Brown’s run from the law came to a halt earlier today when the task force tracked him to a residence on the 2600 block of Meadowbrook Drive, in Horn Lake, Mississippi. He was arrested without drama and is now caged in the Desoto County Detention Center, waiting for extradition back to Tennessee to face his charges.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is known for its dogged pursuit of violent offenders. Formed in 2021, the multi-jurisdictional squad, composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, local Sheriffs, police officers, and Tennessee law enforcement agents, has put away over 2,600 violent criminals and sexual predators off the streets, according to their agency’s ledger. Brown's capture adds another notch to their belt.
