Annual Winter Rose Pruning Demo

Golden Gate Park

All ages

From the organizer

Join the San Francisco Rose Society members and volunteers from SF Rec&Park for our annual winter rose pruning demo. We will be in the garden from 9:00am until noon. The Rose Garden gardener and society members will be on hand to answer your rose care questions and demonstrate correct techniques for pruning your roses for good form and health. The roses in the garden are renowned, high-quality hybrids, vintage and modern climbers and old garden roses. Cuttings are available for free. Please bring your own containers, markers, stickers, etc. to identify what rose cutting you collect. Visitors are not allowed to handle the rose plants. SFRS's "Growing Roses in a Maritime-Influenced Climate" will be on sale for $25.
