The San Francisco Police Department has recently jacked up the reward for information on a seven-month-old murder case to a whopping $125,000. The department hopes the cash will lead to the arrest and conviction of the culprits who gunned down Relondo Jacori Bell, aged 22, in the city.

According to a news release from the San Francisco Police, the fatal incident occurred on the night of August 3, 2023, with police responding to a 9-1-1 call from the victim claiming he had been shot. Upon arriving at the scene on Kelloch Street, officers found Bell with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the emergency aid administered and the medical team's efforts, Bell's injuries proved fatal.

The investigation, spearheaded by the SFPD's Homicide Detail, has since identified a Volkswagen Tiguan associated with the shooting. This vehicle has been recovered, but the individual or individuals linked to it remain at large. The authorities are urging anyone with information to step forward, prompted now by the increased award—up significantly from the original $25,000 offered back in December.

The San Francisco Police Department enjoins the public to provide any knowledge of this case. "Anyone with information regarding this case may contact the SFPD Homicide Detail at 1-415-553-1145 or after hours at the Department Operations Center at 1-415-553-1071, or the SFPD 24-Hour Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444," the department advised. Informants can also send tips via text to TIP411 with the message starting with "SFPD" and may choose to maintain anonymity.
